In November 2020, it was reported that Millie Bobby Brown had deleted her account on TikTok. In May 2021, Millie posted a picture on Instagram of her in a car with the caption 'put your seatbelt on', along with disabling the comments on the post, which was reportedly assumed to be because of the memes of her driving over queer people. The account would later become banned/unavailable. A collaboration account with the username would be created around April 2022, consisting of niche queer users, with the username referring to the meme. Some users jokingly state that they are 'calling Millie' when seeing a queer person doing something that they deem as bad or cringe. On TikTok, the meme gained niche popularity during 2020-2022. Following the meme's resurgence during June 2018, Millie reportedly deactivated her account on Twitter. The meme was reported to have originated in November 2017, by a Twitter user who made a false (and joking) claim that Millie had ripped her hijab off. In relation to the meme, some users tweeted the hashtag '#TakeDownMillieBobbyBrown'. In June 2018, a meme revolving around Millie gained popularity on Twitter, specifically memes about fictional situations where Millie says or does something violently homophobic, with a lot of memes even including homophobic slurs. #TakeDownMilieBobbyBrown Origin on Twitter
